Terms and Conditions


1. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT1.1. To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 10% must be paid by the hirer.
1.2. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received in full.
1.3. By paying the deposit the hirer hereby agrees to all terms and conditions stated in this document
2. PAYMENT OF BALANCE2.1. The remaining balance must be paid by the day of the event prior to set-up.
2.2. Failure to pay on time will result in booking cancellation, and the deposit will be forfeited.
3. PAYMENT METHODS3.1. Payments may be made via invoice, direct deposit, Cash or EFT payment.4. REFUND POLICY4.1. If the booking is cancelled due to non-payment, no refund will be issued.
4.2. No refund will be provided if the event is cancelled due to misuse, misbehaviour, safety risks, or potential damage to the inflatable.
4.3. If IT Inflates cancels the event 48 hours prior due to severe weather (wind/rain exceeding safe limits), the hirer will receive a full refund.
5. CANCELLATION POLICYHirer Cancellations:
5.1. More than 4 weeks before the event: Full deposit refund.
5.2. Between 4 weeks and 7 days before the event: No deposit refund.
5.3. Less than 7 days before the event: No refund.
Weather-Related Cancellations:
5.4. Full refund within 48 hours of the event (if severe weather is verified by the Bureau of Meteorology).
Other Cancellations:5.5. If the cancellation reason is outside these terms, any refund is at IT Inflates' discretion.6. PRODUCT OWNERSHIP6.1. All products remain the property of IT Inflates and are leased to the hirer for the event duration.
6.2. Ownership does not transfer to the hirer at any point.
7. DELIVERY & SETUP7.1. Delivery will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time before the event.
7.2. In case of delays, IT Inflates will extend the rental period accordingly.
7.3. The hirer must communicate desired delivery times in advance.
7.4. Some products require up to 2 hours for setup. The hirer must ensure access for timely installation.
8. PACKUP8.1. Some products require up to 2 hours for pack-up.
8.2. The hirer must allow access for staff to pack up at the scheduled event end time.
9. SITE ACCESS9.1. Direct vehicle access with a 4m-wide path is required. If unavailable, a 1m-wide clear pathway is necessary.
9.2. The hirer must ensure site readiness (unlocked gates, power outlets available, etc.).
9.3. Failure to prepare the site may result in additional delivery charges or cancellation without a refund.
10. SITE SETUP REQUIREMENTS10.1. The setup surface must be flat and level (concrete, asphalt, turf, or grass).
10.2. Inflatables will be secured using pegs (max 49cm) or weights (min 10kg each).
10.3. The site must be free of debris, animal waste, and overhead obstructions.
10.4. If the ground has underground utilities, the hirer must inform IT Inflates in advance.
11. USAGE RULES11.1. The hirer must not move, adjust, or alter the setup.
11.2. A 1m safety buffer must be maintained around the product.
11.3. A responsible adult (18+) must supervise the product at all times.
11.4. Prohibited items and activities:
No sharp objects, face paint, or food inside the inflatable.
No hitting, climbing, swinging, or jumping against walls.
No standing or sitting on the roof.
No smoking or fire within 5m of the inflatable
12. USAGE RESTRICTIONS12.1. The inflatable’s maximum capacity is 40-50 people at a time.
13. WIND RESTRICTIONS
13.1. The hirer must monitor wind conditions and follow safety protocols.
13.2. If using pegs, inflatables must be deflated if wind exceeds 25 km/h.
13.3. If using weights, inflatables must be deflated if wind exceeds 15 km/h.
13.4. IT Inflates reserves the right to stop operation in strong wind or rain.
14. RAIN POLICY14.1. Products can be used in light to moderate rain but not heavy rain.
14.2. Heavy rain increases the risks of slipping and electrocution. The hirer must deflate the inflatable if conditions worsen.
14.3. All electrical components must be kept dry.
15. POWER SUPPLY15.1. Some inflatables require a continuous power source. The hirer must ensure a stable power supply.
15.2. IT Inflates is not responsible for power interruptions.
16. DAMAGES & LIABILITY16.1. The hirer must return the equipment in the same condition as received.
16.2. The hirer is responsible for any damage and agrees to cover repair or replacement costs.
16.3. A cleaning fee (from $100) applies if the equipment is returned dirty.
16.4. The hirer accepts full responsibility for lost or damaged items.
16.5. Any legal fees incurred for recovering damages will be charged to the hirer.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY17.1. IT Inflates is not liable for:
Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages.
Any loss of profits, business, or data.
Any injuries or accidents resulting from product use.
17.2. Use of products is at the hirer’s own risk. Non-compliance with these terms voids any claims against IT Inflates.
17.3. Any financial claims will be limited to the total amount paid by the hirer in the month before the claim.
